First In, Last Out
For taking initiative during a cyber crisis, assembling the team, carrying the pressure and staying with the incident through closure.
Community / Ribbon Program
Respect made visible
The Cyber Struggle Ribbon Program recognizes graduates who continue to develop their technical capability, attitude and contribution to the people around them.
Ribbons are earned through reference and recommendation. Graduates do not nominate themselves; managers or team leads submit a short, evidence-based case, and every ribbon requires at least three supporting recommendations before it can be issued.
Functional. Resilient. Primed.
Each ribbon makes a specific behavior visible: initiative, endurance, discipline, service or courage.
For taking initiative during a cyber crisis, assembling the team, carrying the pressure and staying with the incident through closure.
For sustaining productive, reliable performance through a prolonged incident despite pressure, uncertainty and fatigue.
For creating meaningful impact through discipline, extreme ownership and consistent performance regardless of circumstances.
For servant leadership, team integrity and the continuous technical and mental development of the people around them.
For life-saving action and courage during a natural disaster, accident or other life-threatening situation.
Reference, review, recognition
Present a clear, concise justification based on observable action. No sensitive information is required.
The Cyber Struggle team reviews the case and may request clarification or supporting validation.
Once the recommendations and case are validated, the ribbon is prepared, issued and recognized within the community.
